July 3 - August 5, 2008 Water And Woods An avid environmentalist, Parvin celebrates the beauty of our surroundings of water and woods in dramatic lighting and intense palette. Her passion and intent is two-fold; one, to continue her exploration of the limitless changes a painting takes when paint is layered, removed from and manipulated upon the canvas; and two, to record our pristine environment as it is today. Parvin's paintings are a celebration primarily of acrylic paint and canvas. "Imagery is used only as a vehicle to ddraw the viewer in and offer a bridge to the random drips and rivulets of paint."
